Skull and Bones: A Complete Guide to Unlocking the Sloop Blueprint
In Skull and Bones, becoming a legendary pirate requires more than just battling rival crews and hunting treasure—it’s about customizing your fleet to suit your style. One of the first ships you'll want to craft is the Sloop, a fast, agile vessel perfect for quick raids, exploration, and stealthy maneuvers. But before you can take this ship out to sea, you’ll need to unlock the Sloop Blueprint.
Step 1: Reach the Sunken Outpost
Your journey to unlocking the Sloop Blueprint starts with a visit to the Sunken Outpost. This important location serves as a hub for pirates, offering access to merchants, resources, and various opportunities to advance your journey. To get started, sail to the Sunken Outpost, and head to the beach on your left. Here, you’ll find the Ungwana Merchant, a key figure in your quest.
Step 2: Interact with the Ungwana Merchant
Once you’ve located the Ungwana Merchant, approach and interact with them to view their wares. The Sloop Blueprint will be available for purchase, priced at 4,950 Silver. However, there’s more to acquiring the blueprint than just making the purchase. To buy it, you must meet certain prerequisites that reflect your pirate prowess.Use your MMOexp now to purchase Skull and Bones Items to gain an advantage at sea
Requirements to Purchase the Sloop Blueprint:
Notoriety Level: Your Notoriety is a measure of your reputation and achievements as a pirate. To unlock the Sloop Blueprint, you'll need to raise your Notoriety to a level high enough to access it. Focus on completing missions, defeating rival pirates, and building your reputation to increase your Notoriety.
Pirate Rank 1: You must also achieve Pirate Rank 1, which represents your initial rise in the pirate hierarchy. Progressing through this rank is essential for unlocking access to various blueprints, including the Sloop.
Focus on increasing both your Notoriety and Pirate Rank early in your journey. Engage in quests, defeat enemies, and conquer challenges to accelerate your progression.
Step 3: Gather the Required Materials
Once the Sloop Blueprint is unlocked, the next step is to gather the materials necessary to craft your new ship. Here’s a list of the required resources:
8 Cobalt Bars: Cobalt Bars are crucial for crafting the sturdy components of your Sloop. You can find Cobalt Ore in specific locations and mine it to craft these bars. Be prepared for enemies in these areas, as they often guard valuable resources.
8 Linen: Linen is another essential material, often found through looting shipwrecks or trading with merchants. Alternatively, you can craft Linen from fibers gathered during your adventures.
4 Foundry Sand: This resource is needed for constructing the ship frame. Foundry Sand can be gathered near coastal areas or through specific quests, so explore various regions to collect what you need.
4 Limes: Limes are primarily used for ship maintenance and can be found in tropical regions. They’re commonly sold by traders, or you can explore islands to find them yourself.
2,700 Silver: In addition to the materials listed above, you’ll need an extra 2,700 Silver to complete your purchase at the Shipwright. Silver can be earned by completing quests, plundering enemies, or trading with other pirates.
Step 4: Crafting the Sloop at the Shipwright
Once you’ve gathered all the necessary resources and accumulated enough Silver, it’s time to head to a Shipwright. Shipwrights are expert craftsmen who can assist in building your ship.
Find a Shipwright: You’ll find Shipwrights at outposts around the game world. They’re the ones who will handle the construction of your Sloop.
Craft the Sloop: After locating a Shipwright, approach them and select the Sloop Blueprint from your inventory. Double-check that you have all the required materials and sufficient Silver. Once ready, initiate the crafting process. The Shipwright will guide you through the steps, and soon enough, your Sloop will be ready for the open seas!
Step 5: Explore Additional Merchants at the Sunken Outpost
While you’re at the Sunken Outpost, take advantage of the other offerings from the Ungwana Merchant. In addition to the Sloop Blueprint, they also sell various furniture blueprints such as the Demi-cannon Works I, which can enhance your ship interior. These items are optional but can improve your overall pirate experience by adding aesthetic value and boosting specific ship stats.
Unlocking the Sloop Blueprint in Skull and Bones is a rewarding achievement that allows you to craft a versatile and powerful ship.
